We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Quality, Systems and Accreditation Coordinator to support audit and accreditation processes in the provisions of adults' services. This involves partnering with the business to maintain compliance, standards, and continuity of service to our customers.
Reporting to the Quality, Systems and Accreditation Manager, you will be hands on and adept in influencing and relationship building. You'll have strong skills in providing everyday guidance, advice and support to frontline staff. This will relate to compliance, regulatory governance, policy and practice, and preparation for audit and accreditation activities.
What success looks like…
- Audit activities are planned collaboratively, communicated as appropriate for employees, customers and their families and/or guardians, and facilitated effectively.
- Preparation work for audit and accreditation activities meets internal and external expectations for thoroughness and timeliness.
- Learnings from internal and external audit activities inform improvements to systems, policy and practice.
- Formal communication channels with accreditation bodies/agencies and other external stakeholders are well maintained
- Acts as a liaison between the external agencies, and Aruma
- Champions Aruma's brand promise and company values.
Skills and experience that make you stand out…
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of NDISC standards and accreditation process or willingness to learn
- Tertiary qualified in relevant field desirable. Degree level minimum.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of standards and accreditation processes for services provided to adults or willingness to learn
- Must demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and be detail-oriented.
- Experience in a services industry/managing services clients in a Human Services management or similar role
- A detailed understanding or willingness to learn about the National Disability Insurance Scheme, the NDIS Practice Standards, the Quality Indicators and a comprehensive understanding of the Reportable Incidents Scheme
- Well-developed written and oral communication adaptable to the specific needs of individuals or groups - including liaison, negotiation, and the ability to create professional standard reports
- Experience in developing decision-making insights and persuasive presentations to senior stakeholders
- Skilled at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence rather than direct authority as required
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise workload, handle multiple tasks and work efficiently and effectively to deadlines and respond to multiple and diverse stakeholders
