We currently have a number of exciting opportunities for casual Support Workers to deliver supports across a range of services for adults and young people across multiple homes and programs across Shepparton and North country Victoria sites.

  • Enjoy supporting people to be active inclusive participants in their community
  • A commitment to motivating people we support to achieve personal goals leading to further independence.
  • Have the ability to attend to and support others with personal care and domestic duties in a respectful way.
  • Enjoy community and outdoor activities.

You will also require:

  • A full Drivers Licence.
  • A current level 2 First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain).
  • A current employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).

All candidates will be subject to safety screening including; a National Police History check, and Disability Worker Exclusion List check. Candidates who have lived overseas may also be required to provide the results of an international police check.

Successful applicants will be initially employed by the Department of Health and Human Services and managed by Aruma until employment transitions to Aruma as part of the Victorian transfer of government disability services to the NDIS. Employment, salary, and benefits will be in accordance with Disability Services Enterprise Agreement Victoria 2018 – 2022, classification Level DDSO1/DDSO1Q dependent on qualification held.
