A Regional Team Leaders day involves:

  • Leading and developing a frontline team of Employment Consultants
  • Improving individual competencies and performance across your business units
  • Recruiting and inducting all new employees
  • Delivering communication in a timely manner
  • Inspiring and fostering team performance and undertake escalations as required through regular team meetings and performance reviews
  • Managing caseloads when required in line with operational business needs
  • Implementing goals, update job plans and revise as needed
  • Ensuring professional relationships between consultants and participants are established and maintained within guidelines
  • Dealing with complaints relating to service delivery within the region
  • Ensuring participants have access to effective and efficient referrals to alternate community service organisations
  • Building and maintaining positive commercial and community relationships to ensure ongoing employment opportunities

Located in South East Queensland South, you will be responsible for multiple sites in South Brisbane, Ipswich and Toowoomba.

What you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Sound knowledge of employment services and employer requirements
  • Proven experience managing multiple sites and individuals at varying performance levels
  • Experience in career coaching, planning and job matching
  • The ability to negotiate and influence
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Human Services, Employment Services, Counselling or Business will be highly regarded
  • Existing connections to communities and organisations in the disability or employment sector

  • A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
