The role

As the Family Support Worker, you will provide effective client focused and outcome based case management and support to families and individuals within a newly developed TEI program. Part-time Contract available until end-June 2025, 45 hours per fortnight.

Some key duties include, providing case management to clients who are experiencing complex issues, client interviews and working with those clients to identify and address their needs, home visits, referrals and advocacy, safety planning, support and mentoring, and working with external service system to promote connection for clients.

What's needed

You'll be drawing upon your experience and knowledge in the area of Child, Youth and Family services, as well as your experience in working alongside Aboriginal communities, so those top-level communication and culturally competent skills will be needed. You will hold a minimum diploma qualification in Community Services or a related discipline, however degree qualifications preferred.
