The core mission of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional, rural NSW.

Case Management is a delicate balancing act and you bring the skills and experience to excel in your chosen field, while still managing a healthy work life balance.

After all, you are empathetic; that's a given. As an experienced Case Manager, you know empowering young people to survive and thrive may be challenging at times, but you would not have it any other way.

We are looking for someone like you, who shares our vision and values, and wants to join our team as a Case Manager within our Permanency Support Program - Foster Care & Kinship Care.

You will be responsible for all aspects of case management ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and positive permanent outcomes for young people within our Foster & Kinship Care program.

You'll love this opportunity to draw upon your knowledge base and training in equal measure, as you:

  • Work in culturally competent ways with our families including our Aboriginal families and communities, including building relationships with Aboriginal service providers.
  • Develop and support professional relationships with service providers across our Region.
  • Follow case management principles and procedures to work in collaboration with children, young people, their families and their care team to continually assess, develop, implement, monitor, and review the planning for the young person.

You will be drawing upon your experience and knowledge of both the child and family sector along with working respectfully with Aboriginal communities on a daily basis in this role.

You will be a part of a vibrant, social workplace that celebrates both big and small achievements. You will have our full organisational support when you need it.

Western region travel using an Anglicare fleet vehicle forms part of the position requirements for our staff within the Permanency Support Program (PSP), working from our Orange site office.

Tertiary qualifications (minimum Diploma) in community services or a related field are desirable.

The salary range for this position is $39.26 to $42.25 per hour, plus 10.5% employer superannuation guarantee. Generous salary packaging benefits are available under Anglicare's PBI status. Anglicare also offers other benefits including additional personal leave and paid parental leave.
