The Role

We are currently seeking applicants for the role of Project Manager within our PMO team. These roles are Full-Time although we would also be open to reviewing candidates seeking a Part-Time 4 day week.

Working alongside a passionate & welcoming team you will help support the business in ensuring successful project execution of key projects aligned to Anglicare's strategic goals.

The overall purpose of the Project Manager is to plan and lead the delivery of projects aligned with Anglicare Southern Queensland’s Strategy – including the Digital Strategy, through all stages including scoping, initiating, planning, executing and close out (including support hand over and benefit realisation) in accordance with all governance framework and reporting requirements.

Some of the Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Work within Project Management framework and templates to achieve project outcomes
  • Develop and maintain schedules, scope and costs throughout the project
  • Monitor progress; identify issues and complete regular progress reports to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with SMEs, vendors and key stakeholders to understand and plan complexities
  • Identify and manage risk, issues and opportunities; apply mitigation/realisation strategies to minimise impact and consequences
  • Establishes performance outcomes and measures for key project goals and defines monitoring, status reporting and communication requirements
  • Facilitate and support workshops, with a broad cross-section of stakeholders including project working groups, testing, and training requirements

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting Anglicare in providing essential services to our clients via our PMO team. As well as this, we are ideally seeking a candidate with:

  • Covid-19 Vaccination or Medical Exemption.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Manager role using project management methodologies, tools and practices.
  • Relevant experience delivering projects within the aged or healthcare industry (desired).
  • Demonstrated experience implementing, enhancing and upgrading commercial off the shelf software (COTS) and related technologies.
  • Experience in business case development, planning all aspects, developing plans, schedules, budgets, scope, managing issues & risks and monitoring & reporting progress.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and techniques i.e., PMBOK, Prince2, Agile.
  • Evidence of the ability to embed change and realise project benefits.
  • Background in IT systems support, training, systems testing, go live and roll outs.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to relate effectively to a range of stakeholders.
