About the role..

We are looking for people who want to turn their passion into their purpose.

The Placement Support Worker is responsible for prompt and appropriate placement of children requiring care as referred by Child Safety Services with approved and suitable care providers. The Placement Support Worker supports and monitors approved carers and the placement of children.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social or Behavioural Sciences, Social Work or Psychology (or related discipline) is highly desirable or Cert IV Community Services (Child Protection) with significant experience in a similar field.
• Anglicare Central Queensland is working towards being a Child Safe Organisation. It is a requirement to hold a current Blue Card and Yellow card (or Yellow card exemption) before commencing employment with us.
• Full COVID-19 Vaccination
