This is an exciting opportunity to volunteer with our Campaign Support Team as part of a structured program, over 6.5 months. This includes a 2 week induction, 5.5 month program and 2 week handover, and runs from Monday 18th September 2023 - Friday 22nd March 2024.
Volunteers are requested to commit to 3 days a week placement. Days and hours are flexible and can be negotiated to accommodate personal circumstances.
The placement is being offered in person from one of the Action Centres and as a working from home (WFH) arrangement. This presents an exciting opportunity for people from remote and regional communities from all around Australia to apply.
As an essential member of the Campaigns Support Team, you will support our work by managing different casework streams as well as a number of campaigns including: Refugees rights campaign; Human Rights Act Campaign; Community is Everything campaign and the Indigenous Rights Team; Individuals at Risk and the International reactive campaign teams.
The Campaigns Support Team is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable professional work experience and skills, receive weekly training sessions and represent one of the world's leading human rights organisations.
There may also be an opportunity to work with the Amnesty Brands team to build on your existing experience / studies in Marketing, Communication, Digital Media or a related field through valuable hands-on experience with a major human rights organisation.

If you are successful, you must be available to attend the 2 week Induction Program as this provides the foundation to the role and involves training and handover opportunities. Induction time and dates will be shared with successful candidates after interviews have been completed.
