The organisation

ActionAid Australia is a women’s rights organisation, working in 45 countries to achieve social justice, gender equality and poverty eradication. We use a human rights based approach that recognises the capacity of people living in poverty and exclusion to lead change and drive alternatives. Our strategic priorities are women’s economic and climate justice, and their rights in emergencies.

The role

We are looking for a Graphic Design student or similar to help us achieve our mission of fighting inequality and achieving social justice for women and girls around the world.

Please let us know if you have the following skills and are able to support us in a voluntary capacity:

  • Advanced competence in the use of Indesign;
  • Photoshop skills - a good understanding of CMYK RGB;
  • Basic understanding of Illustrator;
  • Ability to output for print and web (desirable).

What we will provide:

  • Training in a variety of Graphic Design skills and access to a number of platforms.
  • Training in ActionAid’s Human Rights based approach.
