The Opportunity

As a Scheduler you will play a pivotal and lead role in planning and program scheduling within the Victoria service area. This includes collaborating with teams, coordinating resourcing, ensuring equipment and materials are available for service delivery.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Prepare and schedule works to ensure maximised productivity and safety for people resourcing, fleet, and equipment.
  • Collaborate across the business to ensure correct allocation of resourcing is assigned to works considering relevant skills, availability, and qualifications.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse relevant schedule data to identify areas for improvement to action.
  • Coordinate works pipeline data for project resource forecasts to support broader business workforce modelling.
  • Facilitate and participate in team meetings to provide resourcing insights for works at project and portfolio level.
  • Identify potential program risks and develop contingency plans to maintain customer service expectations.

You will have:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a scheduler, project manager or planner scheduling a multi-discipline program with demonstrated levels of data management. Experience within environmental or natural management is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven experience in risk identification and mitigation.
  • Proficient use of work order management and project management software and other relevant tools.
  • Positive can-do attitude and an ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge of and proficient skills in MS Office or G Suite products
  • Strong organisational, consultation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage own workloads, multi-task, and work in a team environment to deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent communication – proven ability to establish, maintain and influence relationships and communicate constructively.
