We are seeking a dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our Allied Health and Client Support team and be a key contributor to our participants achieving their goals.

About the role:

  • Supervised by a clinical practitioner (eg physiotherapist) and assist the practitioner with the implementation of therapy plans.
  • Assist in managing, reviewing, developing and writing care plans and activity plans, primarily for adults with a disability.
  • Meeting with families, care staff and other stakeholders to ensure that high quality care plans are developed and providing training to support the implementation of quality care.

About You:

  • Possess a minimum of Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
  • Experience implementing care plans in a disability setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
  • Ability to work closely with the Allied Health team to implement their treatment programs.
