Salesforce Administrator

Ardoch

the opportunity

We are seeking someone who is solution-focused, creative, and a team player, who would like to work in a welcoming team environment, to help us embed our Salesforce build into our new way of working. We have almost finished the build, however, we need an innovative mentor to inspire our team to use Salesforce effectively.

Can your skills help us through the early hiccups so that the system becomes fully operational and our work flows smoothly? It will be a short, fun burst, with an enthusiastic team, to get to the top of the mountain.

This role will help us to:

  • Make a difference in the lives of children in disadvantaged communities
  • Help us to deliver aspirational programs to give children a glimpse of what could be
  • Make sense of our data and understand our impact on the lives of these children

If this resonates with you, we would love to have you on our team.

This role is a wonderful opportunity for someone keen to contribute to making a difference in the lives of children and young people.

  • If you love working with us, there may be an option for an extension. We offer a casual role (4 days per week) for six weeks and negotiated hours for an extension of up to 4 months.
  • Rate: $38-58 per hour (depending on level of experience) + legislated superannuation guarantee.
  • Hybrid working model, combining time at our Melbourne-based office (CBD) and working remotely.
  • Flexible working arrangements.

What are we looking for?

A strong understanding of the Salesforce platform is needed, along with an interest and ability to quickly master new technology and identify Salesforce best practices and functionality.

Our team is new to Salesforce, so we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and building the capability of others, as well as having a gift for explaining complex things in a simple way.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for acting as the trusted advisor on all things Salesforce. On a day-to-day basis you’ll work with the team to understand why and where things are not working as expected, what they are trying to achieve and how best to make it happen.

You’ll bridge operations and technology by working closely with the business. You’ll handle all basic administrative functions, troubleshoot problems, define requirements and recommend solutions across available options.

You will be a key part of transforming how Ardoch works. You will gather detailed requests for changes and improvements to the system, identify and respond to the priority needs and support continuous improvement in system functionality and use. You will help us to automate and streamline our processes so we have more time to focus on programs and engage with the people who help us make a difference.

Will you fit in?

We are a diverse team, who embrace our values and work collaboratively to achieve our goals.

Our values are:

  • COMMUNITY: We create the village
  • COMMITMENT: We never give up
  • COLLABORATION: We can’t do this alone
  • RESPECT: We are people who want to help
  • ACCOUNTABILITY: We have the honest conversations

It is important that all our team can relate to these values.
