  • Maximum term contract, commencing 1 March 2021 through to 28 February 2022
  • Part time role, 4 days per week

About the role: 

You will support the development, data collection, data analysis of specific Aspect research projects and other collaborative projects and support Aspect staff organisation-wide to develop and conduct ethical, relevant research that contributes to the Aspect Comprehensive Approach and the development of innovative high quality autism practice through research. To view the full position profile, please click here.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, coordination and implementation of specific Aspect Research projects
  • Work with members of collaborative research projects
  • Contribute to peer–reviewed journal output
  • Advise and support individual Aspect staff who are participating in research projects

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Recent completion of a PhD in a relevant discipline or professional area
  • Demonstrated competence in conducting quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis and reporting of results
  • Demonstrated advanced competence with computer software including word processing, database, spreadsheet, and statistical software package such as SPSS, NVivo
  • Demonstrated competence in working with a data collection team
  • Proven ability to produce peer reviewed journal articles, reports and letters of high quality and clarity
  • Proven experience in research ethics including writing ethics applications
  • Ability to undertake travel
  • Some knowledge of education or disability including autism an advantage

A National Police Check clearance is a requirement and Aspect will arrange this.
