About the role

Sitting in the APNA Nurse Engagement and Education team, you’ll work to research, write and deliver world-class news and educational content tailored to nurses. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is driven and passionate!

This is a full-time five day per week role, and you must be on the Ahpra register as an enrolled nurse, registered nurse or nurse practitioner – please provide your Ahpra number in your application.

Responsibilities include

• Develop, write, and edit marketing and communications materials, including regular emails, website content and social media content
• Write, produce and present podcast audio content
• Disseminate and promote content through appropriate social media channels
• Track analytics and create reports assessing the effectiveness of communications activities
• Ensure that all communications and marketing materials align with brand standards

Essential skillset:

• Writing experience to a high standard across a range of topics
• Proven multimedia production understanding and experience
• Communications campaign experience
• Design skills and digital nouse
• Marketing experience including through eDM, web, socials
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Proven excellent oral and written communication, collaboration and negotiation skills

Desirable skillset:

• Formal qualification in communications, journalism, marketing or production
• A background in working in the communications / marketing / media / broadcast will be highly regarded

We are looking for someone with writing, campaigns and multimedia experience, so please add a link/attachment of your portfolio of past content you have written/worked on.
