THE ROLE

APMHA is seeking an individual with a passion for mental health to be the Practice Receptionist at our Alaya House mental health wellbeing hub.

The ideal candidate will:

• Bring positivity and energy in how they deal with clients, care givers, colleagues and other health professionals on a day to day basis and via phone or in person
• Provide a high level of service and professionalism to anyone who contacts Alaya House
• Provide reliable reception services by answering telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner, accurately relaying messages, managing incoming and outgoing mail and various booking systems
• General office administration duties including helping to maintain office cleanliness
• Contribute positively as part of a team, assisting with various tasks as required

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

• Previous experience of providing administrative support including record keeping, and attending to phone calls, responding to queries
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to details, including time management skills
• High level interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others
• Ability to work effectively in a team, including with peers, staff and external stakeholders
• Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously, as required
• An interest in working in mental health supporting consumers and care givers
