AGA has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Intersex Project Coordinator to join their passionate and dedicated team in Canberra.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
To be successful in this role you will have strong project management skills and experience to deliver a range of tailored activities and programs for stakeholders which reflect community need and are aligned with the AGA Strategic Plan.
You’ll possess well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to liaise and engage with a wide range of diverse stakeholders, including intersex, transgender and gender diverse people. Alongside this you will be highly organised and confident in your ability to manage competing priorities in order to ensure deadlines are met.
You will be able to demonstrate an understanding that intersex status is about variations of biology and not gender identity or sexual orientation.
Lived experience and/or a strong identification of engaging effectively and working collaboratively with diverse communities, including members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex and Gender Diverse communities will be highly regarded.
It is a requirement you have a valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP).
