About the opportunity

The role of the Research, Monitoring & Evaluation Lead is to:

  • Oversee the research, monitoring and evaluation activities for specialist educational programs
  • Oversee the development, review and maintenance of educational standards, policies, and resources
  • Lead the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation team
  • General support for the college's accreditation and compliance requirements with regulators

This is a newly created permanent, full-time role reporting to the Learning & Innovation Manager.

You will lead the Research, Monitoring & Evaluation team comprising of

  • Standards and policy officer
  • Standards and projects officer
  • Curriculum development coordinator
  • Senior research officer
  • Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

You will be based at ANZCA House on St Kilda Road, Melbourne with hybrid, flexible working options available.

Keys to your success

This role will suit someone with substantial experience in evaluation and standards, ideally working in education or health. You will be a collaborative and supportive leader with an aptitude for process and systems improvements.

Specifically, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in education, health science, psychology, research or a related field
  • Sound understanding of research methodology
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation
  • Experience in developing policy, standards and regulations
  • Experience in leadership, development, coaching and management of staff
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationships at all levels and across diverse groups, including clinicians, academics and management staff
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead change, embrace new ideas and demonstrate innovation in problem solving
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, individual plans, workflow and meet deadlines
  • Ability to deal effectively with change and work in a flexible and evolving environment
  • Proficiency in reference management software and systems
  • Sound financial management experience
