The Head of Marketing and Communications is a pivotal role that contributes to our ongoing success, growth and engagement for our membership.
Reporting to the CEO this position leads a diverse team responsible for all aspects of Marketing and Communications, including campaigns, events (including conferences), PR, brand, digital/ social, website and projects.
The purpose of the role is to grow AND’s reputation and brand awareness by creating an enviable ‘best practice’ function that supports and aligns with the delivery of sustainable growth, our values and strategic plan.
Whilst able to think and act strategically you will also be adept at motivating, engaging and empowering a dedicated team, and be comfortable getting ‘hands on’ and into the details as required.
You’ll have a natural curiosity and process improvement mindset for all aspects of Marketing and Communications, and a nimble ‘can do’ approach to problem solving and delivering outstanding marketing outcomes. You will also be a strong influencer and communicator, with a passion and understanding for all aspects of disability and inclusion.
To succeed in this role you will already have several years experience in a leadership marketing/ comms role (private or not for profit) and a successful track record of delivering complex, multi-channel campaigns.
Knowledge of UX/UI, creation of digital content strategies and B2B experience highly advantageous.
