The Australian Medical Council (AMC) is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to work with medical education and standards leaders on projects that contribute to developing a highly trained medical workforce and excellence in healthcare. This rewarding, 3.5 year fixed-term position offers you the opportunity to work flexibly, with a team that is Canberra based.
The purpose of the AMC is to ensure the standards of education, training and assessment of the medical profession promote and protect the health of the Australian community. The purpose of Strategic Policy and Research Section is to design and implement projects to deliver on the AMC’s aim of excellence in healthcare through a highly trained medical workforce.
You will play an integral role in the design and implementation of projects that will shape the future standards of medical education and training, and medical practice.
You are an excellent communicator who possesses strong report writing and presentation skills, a love of learning, problem solving and analysis skills, and a commitment to collaborative practice. You also hold:
A base salary range of $117,000 to $133,000 per annum (plus 11% superannuation, leave loading and various salary packaging options) is on offer, negotiable depending on skills and experience.
