The Australian Medical Council is a national medical education standards and assessment authority.

The Project Manager will play an integral role in the design and implementation of projects that will shape the future standards of medical education and training, and medical practice.

You will need strong communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills, a love of learning, problem solving and analysis skills, and a commitment to collaborative practice.

Terms

This is a permanent position, working with a team that is Canberra-based. A base salary of $77,000-$98,000 is available, depending on skills and experience (plus leave loading, 10.5% superannuation, and salary packaging).

The role:

  • Manage strategic projects from planning to delivery and evaluation, on time and on budget using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Identify and manage risks.
  • Manage project reporting.
  • Manage project governance to deliver project outcomes, and support expert input, critical review, and development of networks and communities of practice.
  • Create respectful and consultative working relationships with stakeholders and partners to build on shared commitment to high standards of medical education, training and practice.
