Position purpose

The Event Lead is an integral part of the NSW team, contributing to the Institute’s ongoing growth and supporting members with practical, relevant and responsive services that include the delivery of the Institute’s high-profile Events program, in addition to delivering CPD, supporting the Awards program and offering administrative support across the chapter.

This role is 9-month maternity leave contract.

What you will bring

  • Experience in event management, administration, membership services, event management, or project delivery.
  • A high level of writing skills and oral communication.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal office hours on occasion.
  • Experience in the delivery of education/training and/or member programs.
  • High degree of initiative and strong representation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in working with or an understanding of the architecture and built environment sector and an empathy with design excellence is desirable.
