The Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA) is looking for new people to join our vibrant team. This is your opportunity to join the peak body for publicly funded healthcare and make an impact by supporting our team to do their best. We offer a great working environment as well as:
We are looking for people with an interest in health policy, and strong analysis and research skills, who can work well alone and in small teams.
These roles are contract positions (6 – 12 months, with possible opportunity for ongoing work). The salary level will be dependent on qualifications and experience, and ideally you will be employed full-time.
Depending on your experience, you will contribute to or lead the development of AHHA position statements, discussion papers and submissions on a variety of health policy issues. You will also contribute to health policy projects, including on behalf of our members and clients; and be involved in the organisation of events and functions including think tanks, roundtables, workshops and policy and advocacy forums. You will be working with a small, busy team, as well as with our members, government departments, researchers and other stakeholders.
Experience working within the health, disability or community services sectors would be highly regarded.
