SportsReady Education is the education arm of AFL SportsReady (AFR SR) and a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), specialising in traineeship education delivery predominantly in Business and Sport and Recreation qualifications.
AFL SR is a national organisation with a head office located in Melbourne and regional offices located in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, and Perth.
Based out of our head office in Abbotsford, Melbourne, we are seeking to appoint an experienced and confident manager to lead up our education programs and services. Working as part of AFL SR’s senior leadership team and reporting directly to the CEO, this newly created role is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced education professional to help us to grow and improve our education programs and services.
We are seeking a credible and confident education management professional who has significant experience working in the VET sector, potentially in RTO management roles either in a private or NFP organisation or in a TAFE environment.
The role will focus on building and growing our education offerings, and will involve leading the development of new and innovative education programs, through partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Equally important to a strategic and growth outlook, is the candidate’s ability to ensure our RTO operations maintain a strong focus on quality, compliance and administration. As such, the role would suit someone who can balance operating at a strategic as well as operational level, who possesses a strong understanding of the compliance and administration requirements inherent in running an RTO.
The successful candidate will oversee and manage areas of our RTO operations, including a small team of operational managers spanning education design and quality, contracts and operations, and administration.
Although not an essential requirement, experience in the management or delivery of Business and Sport and Recreation qualifications would be highly regarded.
