About the opportunity

Due to our continued growth, we are expanding our Allied Health Teams and we are require an experienced Occupational Therapist based in South East Melbourne. Some of the key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Performing formal and informal assessments and making recommendations in line with client goals
  • Ability to provide equipment prescriptions as necessary to improve quality of life
  • Provide a high level of professional judgement and knowledge within the Occupational Therapist role within the Allied Health Team.
  • Providing clients with the necessary treatment in relation to their needs
  • Provide education and training to team members and colleagues
  • This role will involve travelling out to clients in their place or residence, work or at our sites

About the candidate

  • Must have current registration with APHRA
  • Current registration with Medicare Australia
  • Excellent knowledge of best practice in private occupational therapist customer service delivery
  • Ability to work autonomously in a complex environment with multiple demands and tight timelines
  • Must have a valid, full drivers' licence.
