We are seeking an experienced Policy Manager to join our Legal and Policy team.

As a Policy Manager, you’ll analyse and interpret information to identify the potential impact of changes and proposed changes in law and policy on the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and the charities sector. You’ll engage with various stakeholders on complex policy matters to share information and influence decision making.

You will review and update existing ACNC policies and work with business areas to develop policies that meet their needs. You’ll prepare written responses to requests for submissions on legislation and policy initiatives and respond to requests for submissions on matters of law and policy from Commonwealth, State and Territory agencies and other bodies.

You will scan the environment to identify issues relevant to the ACNC and the charities sector. You’ll work across the whole of the ACNC, influence policies and processes, and manage change effectively to increase efficiencies while also adhering to changes in laws.

This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Melbourne CBD.
