What’s the gig?

The Strategic Marketing Manager’s key responsibility is the implementation of a brand marketing strategy for ACF. The Strategic Marketing Manager contributes to communications strategies for campaigns, our organising program, and fundraising, ensuring ACF’s brand attributes and tone of voice are reflected in audience tactics, messaging and stories.

The Strategic Marketing Manager leads a team that creates and contributes to communications products, designs and delivers organisational events, organisational website content, as well as key partnerships to achieve organisational, campaign, fundraising and organising objectives.

About you!

  • You have a track record of successfully managing marketing strategies for non-profit or charitable organisations.
  • You have demonstrated experience developing and executing advocacy plans and running programs that build and engage communities.
  • Your experience will include educating key internal teams about the role and importance of brand promise and organisational story in advocacy activities.
  • You’re experienced at a senior level managing a brand, including understanding various audience groups, the research and data analysis of each segment, and the communication required to appeal to and meet their needs.
  • Also, key to this role is experience in, or a demonstrated ability of, creating and implementing production management systems, as well as managing complex and demanding workflows.
  • As well as a deep thinking role, this is a hands-on doing role which requires excellent writing and editing ability.
