In our Child and Family Intensive Support Service (CaFIS) in Wadeye, you'll join a passionate local team, providing critical support for families of children who may be at risk. This is an exciting contract opportunity, where you can use your skills and experience to make a difference.
Our cornerstone is our bicultural model, led by our local community family support staff along with the technical expertise provided by our on-site Family Support Specialists. Our focus is on bicultural participation; that in developing effective working partnerships it is a 'two-way street'. We are committed to co-working arrangements, where our local Aboriginal staff and non-Aboriginal practitioners share a caseload, offering a practice model that respectfully engages clients and provides peer support for the practitioners.

In this full-time contract opportunity (through to January 2025, with potential for extension), you'll collaborate with CaFIS team members to deliver family support services, where a child up to the age of 18 has been identified as experiencing or being at very high risk of experiencing neglect or has had contact with the child protection system. Based in Wadeye, you'll be part of our NT Programs team and report to the Team Leader.
