In this part time, permanent role (9 day fortnight) based in the Moreton Bay region, you'll work within a team to provide case management and safety planning support to women and children who are escaping or experiencing domestic violence, within the refuge accommodation and outreach program. The role attracts some minimal rostered on-call responsibilities, and reports to the Team Leader.
You will make a difference by:
You're an experienced domestic and family violence practitioner with high levels of initiative and flexibility alongside cultural sensitivity and knowledge. You're able to respond calmly and effectively in crisis and complex situations. Importantly, you possess a thorough understanding of the impact of domestic violence on women and children and are able to apply that within a trauma-informed practice framework.
