Travellers Aid Australia (TAA) is at an exciting point of its journey. We are in the process of implementing an ambitious Strategic Plan 2018-2028. At the heart of the strategy is the desire to connect people to people and people to place through the use of public transport, empowering people living with disabilities or experiencing mobility challenges to engage and participate in their communities. The organisation is experiencing considerable growth as we implement our 2018-2028 Strategic Plan. In order to effectively support current and future growth we have reviewed a number of key roles and are seeking suitably skilled and energetic people to join and complement our expanding team.
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the smooth running of the operations at Southern Cross Station (SCS), Flinders Street Station (FSS) and Seymour Station (SEY). With a strong focus on continuous improvement, the Operations Coordinator manages the frontline workforce (in collaboration with the Volunteer Coordinator), facilities and equipment, occupational health and safety, budget and stakeholder relationships at an operational level. The position plays a crucial role in translating strategic objectives into frontline service outcomes. This role works closely with the Operations Manager and requires a collaborative approach.
