More good news for anyone looking for an environmental job (or anyone concerned about the environment generally!). US National Public Radio (NPR) reports on the work of economist Robert Pollin from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, who was recently hired by the US Department of Commerce to work out how many green jobs their recent investments in clean energy have generated.

In a big win for more than 200,000 Australians working in social work, youth work, disability jobs and other social and community jobs, Fair Work Australia this week upheld a pay equity claim which argued that workers in these jobs are paid less largely because most of them are women.
