helps raise $41,171 for PROJECT FUTURES

Did you know that every two months, chooses one special not-for-profit organisation and matches, dollar for dollar, any donation from you, the community – up to $20,000?!

Over April and May, we came together to donate more than $41,000 to help PROJECT FUTURES, a small, Australian charity working to prevent, support and empower victims, survivors and those at-risk of trafficking in Australia and Cambodia, to transform the lives of women and children affected by human trafficking, slavery and sexual exploitation.

Our community of jobseekers donated over $21,000, while matched that with a donation of $20,000, to donate a total of $41,171. has been making donations back to small charities since being founded as a social enterprise in 2009 – this is the 94th organisation that we've supported!

By matching our community's generous donations, dollar for dollar, we’re able to provide more support to selected charities and organisations, and encourage more community members to find out about and get involved in important projects across the spectrum of social and environmental issues – as well as doubling the impact of our own donations!

Our joint donation to PROJECT FUTURES will allow them to provide micro-finance to support financial independence of at-risk women in Cambodia.

Financial independence is one key factor linked with breaking the cycle of trafficking in Cambodia. However for a woman with no education, support or access to start up funds, financial independence is a distant dream.

PROJECT FUTURES works with local partners to provide micro-finance to support financial independence for at-risk women.

For just $600, a woman (and subsequently her family) can be set up with a small business, breaking the cycle of trafficking and servitude.

With financial independence comes choice and the opportunity to create a life of possibility, safety and meeting of basic needs for themselves and their families.

Our donations will allow PROJECT FUTURES to significantly expand their microfinance project — changing many more lives and breaking the cycle of trafficking for generations to come.

In 2017, donated a total of $94,000 to five different organisations working across a range of issues and geographic areas. We were also able to encourage our community to donate $65,000+ of their own funds to be matched by ours.
