• Based at Werribee Open Range Zoo (WORZ)
• Fixed term position until December 2023
• Full time/flexible working hours considered

• Salary $65,000-$72,000 + Superannuation

This position is responsible for providing a broad range of administrative functions and support to assist in the project delivery of the $83.8M Werribee Open Range Zoo Expansion development. It provides administrative support for strategic functions; report writing, calendar management, stakeholder communication, record management, procures goods and services for the department in accordance with Zoos Victoria Procurement Policy; site induction of staff and contractors; and plays a supportive role in development of a safe working culture with increased safety outcomes.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Formal project management training (preferred)
• Understanding of Project Management Frameworks and how to apply them to project delivery desirable
• Proficient in the administration of systems and databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the delivery of reports
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills in developing and maintaining harmonious and participative relationships with stakeholders and contractors
• A basic understanding of contract and project management as it relates to capital delivery projects
• Proven experience in general administrative duties.
