Zest Care is a Government-approved Disability Support Provider offering quality, personalised care plans designed around an individual's needs and goals. We have a dedicated team of passionate professionals whose aim is to provide the best possible support for our customers.

Zest have extensive experience in supporting individuals and families with physical disabilities, mental health, behavioural difficulties and special education needs. Our support workers are carefully selected to make a positive impact and help clients achieve their goals.

Your New Role

Zest Care are currently looking for passionate and caring individuals who are interested in gaining casual employment to work hand in hand with our clients.

You will be working with a range of clients and you must:

• Be comfortable working with people with a range of disabilities (physical and mental)
• Have commitment to family and person centred approaches, supporting inclusion and participation
• Have the ability to build and manage friendly relationships within a team environment
• Be able to think critically, problem solve and have strong decision making skills
• Be able to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Providing community inclusion and networking opportunities for client and supporting client's recreational activities

Locations and Shifts:

• Croydon: Monday 3-6, Tuesday and Thursday 2-6, Friday fortnightly 2-6 and every second Sat 8 hours
• Dandenong: Monday and Friday 12-3pm
• Springvale (Vietnamese speaking): Monday, Weds and Thursday 10am-12pm
• Caulfield : (Indian Cooking): Monday+ Tuesday 9-1 and Sunday 10-1

Skills and experience

• Previous experience with disabilities
• Relevant Certificate Qualification or working towards qualification (e.g. Aged, Care Individual Support or Mental Health) or equivalent experience is highly regarded
• Has the ability to work autonomously, be proactive with problem solving and follow directions from supervisors

You must have at a minimum:

• First Aid and CPR
• Current Paid Working with Children Check
• Police Check (under 6 months old)
• Australian Driving Licence (minimum P2)
• Fully Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
