ABOUT THIS ROLE

YWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Program Facilitator to join our ENCORE Program Team. This role is offered on a casual basis and worked at various locations across NSW.

The program facilitator is responsible for the effective administration and facilitation of YWCA Australia’s, Encore NSW post breast cancer exercise and wellbeing program.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:

  • Relevant practical experience in group facilitation.
  • Demonstrated collaborative working style, with good interpersonal and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of self-awareness with a demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries.
  • Understanding issues for women with breast cancer and pathways to recovery.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to set priorities, plan and organise own daily work practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • High levels of attention to detail and quality.
  • Sound computer and data entry skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, data collection, input and reporting.
  • A valid state-based working with children or working with vulnerable people check.
  • Current drivers’ licence.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate or a willingness to obtain.
  • Current Water rescue certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to swim 25 metres.
  • A moderate level of fitness.

This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily complete a national criminal history record check and hold the relevant state based working with vulnerable persons permit prior to employment.
