YWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Guest Services Agent to join our team at Barbara James House. This role is offered on a casual basis and is based in The Gardens NT. This is a wonderful opportunity for an accommodation allrounder to grow their experience across multiple areas within a small accommodation house.
Barbara James House provides non-medical accommodation to guests from rural and remote areas, who need access to cancer treatments or other hospital treatment. The Guest Services Agent is responsible for providing efficient and professional service and really ensuring our guests feel like they’re at home. The successful candidate will oversee check-in processing, payments and cash float, reservations, back of house stock controls, operate the site kiosk and assist with housekeeping duties as required.
This is a shift work position working on a roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily complete a national criminal history record check and hold the relevant state-based working with vulnerable persons permit prior to employment.
Applicants must also hold and maintain a Senior First Aid certificate, current NT Drivers Licence, Working with Children (Ochre) Card and Police Clearance.
