About the Position

This newly created role will see you oversee the operations of our Residential Withdrawal Units located in Geelong, Fitzroy and Glen Iris. This will be a dynamic role as you manage the operational performance, financial, quality and risk management of these sites. You will be a supportive leader and identify trends that enable delivery of a high quality.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Manage the operations of the three Alcohol and Drug Residential Withdrawal Units.
  2. Lead the provision of clinical oversight of the three Residential Withdrawal Units.
  3. Ensure the delivery of sensitive and effective practices to meet the needs of YP, carers and staff.
  4. In collaboration with the General Manager Residential and Primary Health Services, to provide high quality budgetary and resource management for the withdrawal units, including ensuring managers in your reporting line are actively engaged in managing their budgets and contracts.
  5. Liaise and consult with service providers, agencies and Government Departments including liaison with all other stakeholders as required.
  6. Lead the development of policies and standard operational procedures relating to residential withdrawal units.
