The Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS) is a not-for-profit Victorian Community Service Organisation that enables young people and families to overcome challenges associated with substance use, mental health and behaviours such as offending and self-harm. YSAS provides practical support and evidence-based clinical services for young people experiencing serious problems, but also intervenes as early as possible to prevent these problems from escalating and becoming entrenched.

We employ more than 350 dedicated staff across 19 sites in metropolitan and regional Victoria.

As Deputy CEO you will:

• Lead our organisation in a collective effort to provide services that are effective, sustainable and evolving continuously to meet the needs of young people and families
• Create a strong culture of accountability and ensure that our workforce is properly resourced, capable and deeply invested in our purpose.
• Provide assurance and inspiration to our funders, partners and organisational stakeholders in demonstrating and improving our social impact and return on investment.

It is imperative that you have considerable leadership experience in the community services and health field and an understanding of the youth sector will be a significant advantage. Your experience will mean that you are well placed to add value to our fabulous team of managers, support staff and frontline workers who are at the very heart of our business.
