About YDA

YDA is a public benevolent institution created in 2005 by a group of leading thinkers and practitioners in the youth field as a platform for change and as a way of exploring, developing and implementing innovative youth development initiatives. We are committed to supporting and empowering young people in Australia, and in particular those experiencing disadvantage.

The three core activities of YDA are:

  1. Innovative and pioneer projects and programs for and with young people such as Upstream Australia and A Way Home Australia;
  2. Inform and influence policy debate and public narratives through our flagship project the National Youth Commission Australia (NYCA) where we conduct inquiries on youth issues of national significance, as well as our major events including the Youth Futures Summit and the National Youth Homelessness Conference;
  3. Create opportunities for young people to have their own voice, develop creative ideas and achieve their full potential through programs and projects like our social enterprise, Youthworx Productions.

About the Role

The Digital Coordinator will support the delivery of YDA’s digital engagement strategy and carry out day-to-day tasks and activities including content creation, social media posting and monitoring, Google Ads grant management and project work for events and programs.
