Youth Support and Development Worker

Youth Futures WA

Youth Futures has been providing support services in Western Australia since 1988. We currently provide 30 programs and services across three core streams; Homelessness, Education and Training and Well-being and Support.

We have been delivering appropriate education programs for disengaged and at-risk young people since 2001 through the Anchor Point Program, Comet CaRE Schools and Youth Futures Community School, with the aim of providing a holistic supportive environment for educationally vulnerable young people.

Our Schools are designed to re-engage and support students who have had difficulty in attending mainstream education. The goal is to ensure that students achieve relevant education certificates and possess the personal and social skills required to move onto the next stage, be that TAFE, employment, training or apprenticeships.

We are seeking an additional Youth Support and Development Worker to support and engage with local Young People who attend our Comet Clarkson school. The successful candidate will also assist and guide the school to ensure we are providing appropriate services to Young People who have experienced adversity and have a range of barriers that require additional support.
