  • 3 year fixed-term contract

About the Role

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop and implement an internal communications strategy to increase staff engagement, encourage information sharing across the organisation and utilise a range of platforms and mediums to distribute communications in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop, lead, and manage all internal communications and activities, ensuring messages are consistent, engaging, and effective
  • Oversee and maintain the organisational intranet site and internal unit pages, ensuring content is appropriate and relevant to promote internal news sharing, communication, and inclusivity
  • Plan, source, write and edit content for all internal communications mediums, including the intranet, CEO and Executive updates, staff e-newsletters and all team meetings
  • Build and foster relationships across all areas of the organisation to understand requirements and challenges and ensure employees are engaged and informed
  • Draft messaging and speech notes for CEO and Executive presentations for internal staff meetings, forums, and events

About You

To be considered for this position, applicants will have:

  • A degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in previous internal communication roles
  • Demonstrative experience in developing and delivering internal communications strategies and messages in various formats
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workflow, and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
  • High level of computing and design skills, including knowledge of SharePoint applications, intranet platforms, Microsoft Office suite of programs and database applications
