About the role

Youthsafe is seeking to employ a full-time Education and Training Manager for its community and schools’ training programs, including the NSW Safer Drivers Course.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide leadership and ongoing supervision, professional development and mentoring for Youthsafe’s small team of casual trainers and presenters;
• Manage Youthsafe’s education-training program;
• Present sessions in relevant school/community venues - including those outside the Greater Area of Sydney if required – and facilitate online sessions;
• Identify opportunities to grow the education-training program through potential partners and customers;
• Advise on educational content of presentations, training sessions, workshops and projects across the organisation;
• Keep abreast of developments and emerging needs in the educational and training sectors;
• Undertake desktop or action research into matters relevant to Youthsafe’s work;
• Collaborate with staff to ensure accurate messages across health promotion activities across the organisation;
• Contribute to the development of organisational plans and policies with the staff team;
• Carry out other duties as required.
