About the role

The Solutions Architect is responsible for consulting with yourtown stakeholders and developing practical and cost effective IT solutions (both cloud based and on premise technology) that are aligned to the organisational strategy.   

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translating these into technical requirements to determine the best solution;
  • Providing comprehensive business cases for recommended solutions;
  • Presenting and evaluating high level solutions at internal governance forums to ensure an architectural and strategic fit;
  • Having end to end ownership of architecture projects through design, development, implementation and post-implementation review.

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Strong demonstrated experience in a similar role;
  • Proven understanding of current and future trends in the application of technology for business optimisation and transformation;
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure/telephony;
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with outstanding reporting capability;
  • Strong relationship building and influential skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Acute attention to detail and highly developed project planning skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking coupled with a results driven attitude.
