About the position:

Reporting to the Manager, Advocacy Research and Innovation, you will support the research and evaluation services for yourtown. You will:

  • Support research projects and evaluations of yourtown’s programs and services
  • Support research partnerships with universities and research institutes
  • Undertake research to support yourtown’s advocacy work to inform social policy
  • Assist with the development of evidence-informed service and program theories
  • Support the design, project management, implementation and reporting of research and evaluation projects

To be considered for this opportunity you will:

  • Hold a Bachelor level degree and a minimum of one year’s relevant experience
  • Be comfortable using data, research and evaluation evidence, and be able to share evidence in a visually appealing way
  • Have a sound understanding of designing and implementing research and evaluation projects using effective models, processes, theories and techniques
  • Have good written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide audience
  • Have sound judgement and the ability to be resilient, adaptable and responsive
