The yourtown Early Childhood Development (ECD) Program is designed to deliver highly collaborative strategies to ensure vulnerable pre-school aged children reach physical, emotional and social developmental milestones, and transition to school successfully. The Program is aimed at providing appropriate interventions and referrals for pre-school aged children who are not meeting developmental milestones as a result of trauma.

As the Program Lead (Case Management), you will lead and oversee the program to improve children’s development and wellbeing to support them to make a successful transition to school.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team of 3 specialists
  • Carry a small caseload of complex families
  • Lead and model a multi-disciplinary case management approach
  • Support the day to day delivery of the program
  • Collaborate with participants, team members and partner agencies to plan and develop case plans
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and within the community

About you:

Comfortable in building relationships and able to take responsibility for the site and program, you will be a leader who displays a pioneering spirit and a passion for helping to keep families together.

In addition to this you will also possess:

  • Bachelor level qualification in Early Childhood Development, Psychology or equivalent and 5 years case management experience working with vulnerable and diverse families
  • Proven experience in a senior capacity to lead a team to achieve program goals
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the principles of child development, developmental milestones and the impacts on learning
  • Experience in managing a complex case load, including working with children and young people with complex needs
