About the role

In this newly created role of Digital Communications Advisor you will support the organisation-wide digital technology transformation. You will coordinate the internal and external communications, to support the successful implementation and enterprise-wide adoption of new technology and business process.

Your other key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting creative and compelling written, verbal and visual communication for a variety of projects for internal and external channels;
  • Creating communications plans for all Technology transformation projects and tracking actions and deadlines;
  • Extensive collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment of communication activity and to develop and implement new communication channels;
  • Being an advocate for Tech for Mission digital strategy.

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role at an enterprise level;
  • Strong experience communicating content for varied audiences across multiple digital media platforms;
  • Proven experience working on multiple projects and creating communications plans to support project delivery;
  • Strong knowledge of change and it’s impact on business and people;
  • Great communication skills complemented by a strong creative flair, with an ability to use data to gain insights and inform decisions;
  • Excellent relationship building and influential skills to promote the yourtown digital agenda;
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking coupled with a results driven attitude.
