Based in an idyllic rural setting in North Richmond, San Miguel family residential service provides intensive, individualised support to vulnerable young parents and their children. San Miguel is a unique service that plays a critical role in keeping children safe and well and keeping young families together.  Parents and children receive support from a multi-disciplinary team through a combination of on-site and community based interventions that ensure children are engaged in safe, developmentally appropriate activities and their parents are supported to set and pursue family and personal goals.

Our family preservation model is one of a kind in Australia, we have the ability to be creative in how we work with families, we exist to meet the complex needs of children living with significant risks and aim to transform the lives of young parents and children. For us it is about the children and families and not about the numbers.

The Case Worker Families provides individual and family case management for young children and their families that improves emotional and physical wellbeing and enables them to keep themselves and their families safe. You will act decisively to protect children from harm, work collaboratively with parents to build their parenting confidence and skills and work with the whole family to strengthen the protective bonds between parents and children.
