Managing the newly operational Carer Gateway, Your Side supports Carers in the Northern and Western Sydney areas. We are seeking experienced Community Services Consultants to join our growing organisation on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. Most people don't see themselves as a carer but a carer may be anyone who looks after a person with a disability, mental illness, medical condition or someone who is older or frail aged.

In the Customer Care Consultant role, you would be responsible for responding to enquiries from the public, health professionals or community care service providers regarding the range and suitability of Your Side’s products and services for Carers.

The Carer Gateway facilitates a variety of services for Carers such as emergency respite, carer directed packages of support, counselling, peer support and more. Through careful assessment, carers are supported through their caring journey with a focus on capacity building, emergency support and planned respite.

About You:

  • Knowledge in or understanding of people with disability, older people, carers or people living with mental illness.
  • Minimum 3 years customer service or sales experience.
  • High level customer service skills with the ability to actively listen build rapport quickly and collate and record customer information.
  • Demonstrated capability to meet or exceed key performance indicators particularly daily utilisation, call targets, and cross referring sales targets.
  • High level dispute resolution skills able to identify customers barriers to service, address issues and offer resolution or constructive solutions to satisfy customer needs.
  • Admin and IT including the ability to keep accurate records, have attention to detail and maximise use of Customer management systems.

Flexibility

We are hiring for multiple roles on a full-time and part-time basis. During to COVID restrictions, we are supporting employees to work from home, however this role will be office based at our Chatswood office once restrictions are lifted.
