About the Role

The Fundraising Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Fundraising and Philanthropy team, whose areas of expertise include major gifts, bequests, grants, corporate partnerships and individual giving at all levels. This role will have a specific focus on contributing to fundraising appeals, regular giving and community fundraising strategies and activities. As the first and regular point of contact for donors by phone and email, the Fundraising Coordinator is a key relationship and engagement manager for Yooralla’s supporters. The person in this role is responsible for the management, maintenance and enhancement of the donor database, as well as the efficient flow of all administrative processes within the team. If you are someone who has a keen interest in and/or passion for the transformative power of philanthropy, a donor-centric ethos and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of people with disability through your work work, you will thrive in this role.

This is a pivotal time to join the team as we develop strategies for sustainable fundraising into the long-term through meaningful donor engagement.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years' experience in relating and interacting with donors
• Experience in contributing to developing and implementing fundraising appeals, regular giving and community fundraising activities
• Experience in providing support to and in coordinating a fundraising and philanthropy team
• Strong proficiency in working with fundraising databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, balancing data-driven solutions with donor centricity
• Excellent customer service, communication skills and telephone manner
• Accuracy and attention to detail
