About the Centre

This role is based out of YMCA Victoria's Head Offices, based in Box Hill & Ikon Park. Office use is also subject to WFH flexibility and the relevant COVID-19 restrictions.

Key Elements of the Role

This role reports directly to the Grants & Philanthropy Manager and works closely on the YMCA Open Doors fundraising strategy and its​​​ processes.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong acumen in administration, with previous experience working in the fundraising or charitable giving space.

This role is a Maternity leave contract & will finish in Sept-October 2021.

The salary for this position is a S/S Grade 7 - 8: $34.34 - $36.40 per hour + super.

  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Well-developed problem solving and skills

Qualifications

Mandatory Pre-Requisite Qualifications

  • Working with Children Check or Equivalent (for example, a ‘Working with Vulnerable People Check’ for ACT staff, and ‘Bluecard’ for Queensland staff)

Highly Desirable Qualifications

  • At least 12 months’ work experience in a not for profit in an equivalent role
  • Victorian Driver’s License

  • A national criminal history check
  • An international criminal history check where applicants have worked overseas
  • Holding or obtaining a Working with Children Clearance/ equivalent in accordance with state/ territory laws
  • ACF Safeguarding Children and Young People Certificate (completion online prior to commencement)
  • Two reference checks
