Unison is a not for profit organisation that provides a diverse range of housing services in Victoria, including social housing, affordable housing, private rental, transitional housing and owners corporation services.

We provide affordable housing, and work to reduce disadvantage and social exclusion for people who have previously been homeless, by helping to create communities around them. Unison also assists over 3,500 people each year who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

About the role

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, you will manage Unison’s Risk, Compliance, Reporting, and Quality, leading a team of two. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage implementation of the quality and risk management frameworks, including internal audits
  • Manage robust monitoring of business performance processes and outcomes
  • Drive a risk aware, quality focused culture across the organisation
  • Ensure Unison meets its compliance requirements

About you

We are seeking a self-motivated person with a demonstrated commitment to social justice and to the empowerment of disadvantaged members of the community. The successful candidate will have significant experience in quality, compliance (reporting) and risk and a keen interest for working with data. A mix of data analysis, stakeholder management, and superior communication skills are a must.

On Offer

Remuneration of $95,000 per annum +9.5% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.

Unison provides a flexible, supportive and family friendly work environment including 5 weeks annual leave.
